I’m starting to make preparations for the next two to three years of my life. Next year, I will be spending an entire year abroad in Beijing. The year after that, I plan on permanently moving out to Washington, DC (where I go to school) because I anticipate remaining in the DC area after I graduate from college. Needless to say, I’ve got a lot of moving planned in my life, which is where selling on eBay comes in.

I’ve always been a pack rat when it comes to books and CDs, and to a lesser extent DVDs. All of my books, CDs and DVDs are in good condition, but I can’t afford to haul my collections around the country and/or globe. I have tentative plans to sell them on eBay or half.com, but I’ve never used either site before. I know people in the same “blogging circle” as I have used eBay and/or half.com to sell various items (Amanda, Haley and Caity if I’m not mistaken, as well as others) so I was hoping that I could get some insight from those who have used these websites either to sell or purchase items. Tips, advice, horror stories… I want the lot. Help a girl out, please?
